As a teacher of all levels, a recitalist, and with amateur and professional students of diverse ages and backgrounds, my goal is to support the amazing process of musical and artistic fun and achievement of all interests.

We are a semi-traditional music studio, offering in-depth study of Cello, Piano, and theory/compostition. We are traditional in the sense of developing students' performance skills, cultivating healthy and disciplined attitudes toward competition, and working toward deep musical understanding in many contexts. But we go beyond the standard tradition by incorporating philosophical guides to musical and personal development as well as approaching the art with a true interdisciplinary spirit. My piano program is a comprehensive approach dedicated to developing musical independence. Instruction involves private lessons that integrate music reading, technique, theory, ear training and musicianship studies. Performance is an important part of studying piano, and students will have the opportunity to perform in recitals and the ISMTA AiM Examinations.
