We are a semi-traditional music studio, offering in-depth study of Cello, Piano, and theory/compostition. We are traditional in the sense of developing students' performance skills, cultivating healthy and disciplined attitudes toward competition, and working toward deep musical understanding in many contexts. But we go beyond the standard tradition by incorporating philosophical guides to musical and personal development as well as approaching the art with a true interdisciplinary spirit. It is the aspiration of the studio that each student rises to high-level challenges that present themselves in the course of study as well as learn to appreciate one's own personal development.
