As an MN Music Teachers Association certified teacher, I specialize in offering private instruction to students age 5-18 with a strong emphasis in theory. My strengths as a teacher lie in teaching beginner and intermediate students. I teach using a broad spectrum of styles including classical, jazz, improvisation, lead sheets, pop and more. My students are given several opportunities to compete and perform throughout the year if that is their desire and the desire of their parents, however I do not require it (but it is strongly encouraged). I prefer to teach in my home studio but am willing to come to you at an increased tuition rate.
