We are traditional in the sense of developing students' performance skills, cultivating healthy and disciplined attitudes toward competition, and working toward deep musical understanding in many contexts. But we go beyond the standard tradition by incorporating philosophical guides to musical and personal development as well as approaching the art with a true interdisciplinary spirit. The Piano Studio of Robert Sacks offers a comprehensive program of musical training in piano to students of all ages and skill levels, including adults. A conservatory-trained pianist, Mr. Sacks has taught private studio piano in Naperville for more than 25 years, and is also active as an accompanist and chamber musician.

Student learn all aspects of musical expression, technique and theory, in an environment that is nurturing, lively and challenging. Three recitals a year--two solo and one all-ensemble--give students the opportunity to develop poise and confidence.
