I am an experienced musician having studied piano and clarinet for over 20 years! I studied music at Augustana College and have over 14 years experience playing in a variety of musical ensembles and recitals. I also serve as a piano accompanist for junior high and high school students participating in solo contest.

I have 15 years of private teaching experience, a majority of which is with children, but I welcome all ages who are willing to learn! I was classically trained and successfully completed the Suzuki Piano Method series, but have experience playing a variety of genres and encourage students to learn using a diversified repertoire. My comprehensive teaching approach includes a variety of skills and activities including: playing, sight reading, music theory, music history, etc. The curriculum is individually developed based on the needs/goals of the student.
