I teach one-on-one piano and music composition lessons. My composition students enter contests, and my piano students perform in recitals as well as taking theory and piano exams.

My piano studio consists of students age 4-75 of all ability levels. The program is not method-oriented
but rather, every student has an individualized curriculum. Beginners start with my own piano method which I composed. Most summers I am invited to various international festivals in Europe as a teacher and bring a large group of piano students with me. Other summer programs focus on theory and developing basic skills with nine learning stations. Multiple recitals throughout the year round out the program. some students have won national and international piano competitions.
Last summer, 2014, we were in Lake Como, Italy where 12 of my students played a concerto with the Milan Chamber Orchestra. Adult students have their own informal recitals in the homes of fellow students. Duets and Ensemble playing is also emphasized.... See More
