I have over 30 years of experience in teaching piano and vocal, and have students different ages from 3 y.o. to 70+. I like to give my students all around skills: from good ability to sight read music to at least basic knowledge of music theory, and more theoretical knowledge for advance students. I offer different lengths of lesson: 30 min, 45 min, and 1 hour. For older children or adult students recommended lesson length is 45 min to 1 hour. The 30 min length is good for younger children that can't concentrate for longer time. Shelley Stack teaches piano and music theory in her well-equipped home studio. She works with students from age 5 through adult, using the curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well a large variety of supplemental materials, covering all musical styles. She is the Matawan/Central Center Representative for RCM, and a member of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association, Shore Music Educators Association, and Cecilian Music Club.
