The Piano Studio of Robert Sacks offers a comprehensive program of musical training in piano to students of all ages and skill levels, including adults. A conservatory-trained pianist, Mr. Sacks has taught private studio piano in Naperville for more than 25 years, and is also active as an accompanist and chamber musician.

Student learn all aspects of musical expression, technique and theory, in an environment that is nurturing, lively and challenging. Three recitals a year--two solo and one all-ensemble--give students the opportunity to develop poise and confidence.

I am Suzuki violin and viola instructor with over 35 years of teaching experience. I also use Mark O'Connor's method as a supplement to provide a well rounded experience. My students perform 4 times yearly in the community including a Solofestival with judges who evaluate their performance and a Community Holiday Concert in December. Everything is done with consideration to the student's learning abilities and is presented in a gentle structured environment. Students are accepted starting at age 4 but I have worked with students as young as 3 with special circumstances. Parent are a valued, important part of the process and are present at lessons and work with their student at home. NO music experience necessary for parents -- part of my job is instructing the parent and making sure they feel comfortable working with their child at home.

I am a professional pianist. I work in all fields of my profession; I teach, I play, I give both solo and chamber music concerts, I provide professional accompaniment and I also work as a church pianist. I think it is important to have a teacher who is a good performer as well. I like to work in all aspects of my profession which helps me to grow as a musician.

I have 20 years of experience as a professional pianist and instructor. I hold Bachelors degrees from two Universities as well as Masters and post-masters (Artist Diploma) degrees. I have been teaching both private and group piano lessons for 20 years in US. I worked as Piano Department Head for number of years at an established music school (Metropolis School of Performing Arts in Arl Hts IL) and currently hold a position at Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College as well as my own private studio; Elif Allenfort Piano Studio. I also work extensively as an actress chamber musician. I perform in concerts regularly.
