Teaching students of all ages and all levels to gain a love of playing the piano is what I offer. I blend different styles ranging from classical to contemporary and use technology including JoyTunes, Guitar Band and other apps. In addition to recitals, my students participate in AIM, Northshore Northwestern Festival of Music and other contests. I have a degree from U of IL, and hold a professional certificate in piano from the National Music Teacher's Association. Instruction involves private lessons that integrate music reading, technique, theory, ear training and musicianship studies. I am a professional pianist. I work in all fields of my profession; I teach, I play, I give both solo and chamber music concerts, I provide professional accompaniment and I also work as a church pianist. I have 20 years of experience as a professional pianist and instructor. I hold Bachelors degrees from two Universities as well as Masters and post-masters (Artist Diploma) degrees.
