I teach violin and viola to students of all levels, including adult amateurs. My focus is mostly beginning to intermediate violinists and beginning to advanced violists.

I have taught students of all ages, from five years to adults, in my home studio and students' homes as well as in music schools and college. Everyone can learn; I have a special interest in adult students. I feel that the student's goals come first, whether he or she wants to learn classical music or popular songs. Shelley Stack teaches piano and music theory in her well-equipped home studio. She works with students from age 5 through adult, using the curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well a large variety of supplemental materials, covering all musical styles. She is the Matawan/Central Center Representative for RCM, and a member of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association, Shore Music Educators Association, and Cecilian Music Club. Violinist and violist Molly Christie is an active teacher and performer in the
greater Philadelphia area. Ms. Christie is a certified Suzuki violin/viola instructor, teaching students ages 3 and up. Her commitment to teaching includes a vibrant learning environment, a commitment to discipline and excellence, and warm relationships among teacher, student, and parents.

Ms. Christie holds her Masters of Music from the West Virginia University School of Music. She has held multiple private string teaching positions from elementary public school to university level.
