I teach violin and viola lessons in a private, peaceful studio in my home. My goal is to encourage students to improve and to find the fun in playing and learning. Each lesson is tailored to maximize interest and achieve immediate results. Adults and children, seasoned and fresh-starters welcome. This is not Suzuki; after initial familiarity with the instrument, we study scales, etudes, double-stops, positions and repertoire. I emphasize being in-tune, playing with clarity and beauty including vibrato.
