Teacher of voice. Retired form the University of Alaska where I taught voice and founded and conducted the Alaska Chamber Chorale and performed as a soprano soloist in recital and opera. I am a 40 year member of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), NAfME (National Association for Music Education) and a member NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). Many of my students have won or placed in district NATS competitions and have had command performances at state level High School Solo contests. I have many years experience of adjudicating soloists at state levels with NATS and NAfME sompetitions. I have recently moved back to the valley after living in Alaska for the last 40 years, and am now opening my vocal studio. I specialize in high school, college and all ages of adults who like to sing. Younger singers are a possibility with a parental meeting.
